Bill HR1540, the NDAA for 2012 has gone through many revisions as it came from the Senate, and snaked it’s way through the House and soon to land on the President’s desk for his signature. The biggest issue with this bill has been the sections 1031 and 1032, which deal with “Detainee Matters” and the ACLU got really bent out of shape when people came to the conclusion that these sections enabled the government to suspend Posse Comitatus and indefinitely detain American Citizens.
This of course is a huge red-button issue. Nobody wants their rights trampled on and even the whiff of this is enough to enrage the citizenry. I have gone to OpenCongress.com and looked up the bill that is being discussed. HR 1540. I then went to the THOMAS site at the Library of Congress and the bill as it is ready for the President’s signature has changed the section numbers of these two parts that upset people. Instead of 1031 and 1032, the new sections are 1021 and 1022.
People are alarmed at this bill and I can tell you that I have read this bill and these two sections and there are two parts, here’s the part for 1021:
(e) AUTHORITIES.—Nothing in this section shall be construed
to affect existing law or authorities relating to the detention of
United States citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States,
or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United
States.And then here’s the part for 1022:
(b) APPLICABILITY TO UNITED STATES CITIZENS AND LAWFUL
RESIDENT ALIENS.—
(1) UNITED STATES CITIZENS.—The requirement to detain
a person in military custody under this section does not extend
to citizens of the United States.And I’ve looked over this bill and can’t find loopholes that mean that US Citizens can be indefinitely detained at all! The bill clearly states in both sections that nothing in either section applies to US Citizens!
So does it matter if the President Vetoes this bill? No. It doesn’t. We are protected by these two sections. The people who claim that we are in peril need to point where in the bill these two paragraphs no longer mean what I think they do when I read them.
If nobody can produce text proof that this bill is dangerous to my civil rights then I insist that people STFU about it!
The requirement to detain a citizen in military custody does not apply to US Citizens or Legal Aliens. Therefore Martial Law (Can, and probably will) go into effect as this bill practically authorizes nation and world wide. This bill states that although a US Citizen is not required to be held in military custody, they can be, or transported to a civilian prison camp, IE. the FEMA Camps. If you dont believe in the, goto goarmy.com and check out the latest position for those "brave" soldiers to join as an Internment/Resettlement Specialist, also the numerous Contract positiions available for the same jobs. Oh and the Relocation Act of 2007 authorizes the building of FEMA camps nation wide.
Gotta read the play on words buddy, these puppets that have been dangeling in congress have become real good at making things sound good when its very very very bad. hope you are one to stand up for what your country stands for, help spread the word.
It is not so much how it is now, the question is why it is now. Yeah they changed language but who construed the original language and for what purpose. Don't think they will quietly sneak into a back room and simply change the language again. These are all lawyers and they know what the legal "terms" are and how to deploy them. It shouldn't be in this bill anyhow. If this is such an important national security debate then let us have the debate, not last minute sneak in subterfuge.
You know as well as I do that they sneak these horendous laws into giant bills/acts. They, meaning the puppets in Washington, have forseen the coming Economic collapse and/or planned it. With 23 manufacturing facilities alone being shutdown either daily or weekly here in the states, carbon tax controversy, and lots of other things that are taking place around the world right now, it only seems historically set, that Tyrrany is once again trying to release its Minions.
If you believe the "Conspiracy Therosits" or "Whistleblowers" as they actually are, new documents that surfaced, but were quickly taken down, the Government is classifing all non-Government America Citizens as red targets, and Government as Blue. Hence the Blue Force Tracking Systems that are installed in various Military Vehicles.
As to why now? As I stated, the coming collapse of America both Civil and Economical is why now. One question to ask yourself, are you an American Citizen that would die to protect your Constitution, or are you an Amerikan Citizen that would gladly and helplessly become a slave to the new Nazi Empire. Cause this Bill is basically reinstating the Nazi Regime and all the other Tyrannical Governments that have tried a hand at world domination thru the Eons.
Rebuild America, rebuild Countries peacefully and all live in harmony, but the powers that be want death and destruction unfortunatly.
oh and An important national debate is TSA. Jesse Ventura took them to court and was told due to National Security, they will not release any information as to why they strip search. Since the controversial 9/11 Story took place, and even before that, the OKC bombing (new video out for that with eye witnesses and lots of death threats) there have been numerous "terrorist" actions that have stripped us of our freedoms and liberties, in the name of the US Government protecting us, when 90% of these have been proven to lead directly back to numerous gov agencies or presidents. Take Fast and Furious for example, Holder, which oversaw the OKC coverup has purgered him self from the case and has been pushing gun control laws and regulations to restrict gun buying under the pretense of his actions that supplied guns to mexican drug cartels. This also has the whole of Mexico in shambles due to the drug cartels with massive caches of guns vs the government/populace of mexico. I think providing guns for civil war or to overthrow a government is a war crime, but they wont do anything cause he is part of the Tyrranical picture.

Give everyone in America a gun, and see who tries to commit crime. My opinion, all must pack a gun if you want to walk this Land, if you use it justly, then you have nothing to fear. Use it unjustly, and you lose everything, including your freedom and/or life. My vote, if you commit a haneous crime, a 20 cent bullet is all your worth, not $40,000 a year average charged to the tax payers, in prison.

The Criminals in Government, to me should all be tried for Treason since they hold public office and pass laws against the constitution, all hung on the White House lawn to both nurture the grass, and warn those that would try to destroy the very Constitution that they swore an oath to.
